Hello all. I am thinking of getting my hair dyed and was thinking about having ombré done. I have not had my hair dyed before. My natural current colour is a golden/honey blonde shade. I will obviously have to dye the roots/top of my hair to a brown shade.. What are your thoughts on ombré hair? Pictures and inspiration are very much appreciated! Thank you... 😊

Generally the idea of an ombre is meant to blend into your natural roots, which minimizes upkeep. I think you could do a reverse ombre (light to dark) far more easily, unless of course you wanted to go from golden to platinum blonde which could be interesting.

Thank you piscine! I was thinking about the reverse ombré but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I will take a look at the second ombré that you mentioned... Thank you!

I have been looking at images and inspiration photos of the golden to platinum and I also agree that it does look good!
