Oh god please help

Can you show us a picture? What pink did you use? What kind of pink do you want?

This is the best picture I can give atm, my phone is lost and I just used my laptop's camera. I went to my local drug store and bought the Splat Pink Fetish. I just wanted something that looked pink, lost a bet lol.

It does look like the lengths are too dark for the pink you went for and I don't think that is a great dye anyway, from what I've heard. Would you be happy with a darker purple pink for now?

Also, before you bleached, what was the recent history of your hair? Dyed? Virgin? Etc etc.

Did you use the bleach that came with the dye? From what I remember ( although last time I bought splat was 4 years ago) it came with a small bottle of bleach and a small one of dye. The bleach is awful, barely lifted and left my hair very dry. Splat washes out really quickly, it runs even in the rain. you will be better off buying a better brand of dye and bleaching your hair a little more to get a nice bright pink.

To answer both of you, my hair was a virgin before yesterday's bleaching. I did also end up using the bottle of bleach that came with the dye. I'll take the purple as a final option, but if I can I'd like to get it to a nice bright pink.

You need to bleach to a lighter shade first, the lighter blonde the hair the more bright the pink.

If you are in America you can get Age Beautiful cream lightener at sallys. You will need 20 vol peroxide (developer) to go with it. US Sallys carry Manic Panic I think, so Hot Hot Pink would be a good choice

I've heard that Manic Panic fades rather quickly. Would it last long enough? Oh, and thanks for the help!

Hot Hot Pink is one of their better shades, and probably the best you will find at a Sallys. If you want longevity then Special Effects Atomic Pink is pretty much permanent, Adore has great pinks, and so do Punky and Arctic Fox

Hot hot pink is one of the pinks that lasts the longest in my hair but unlike most, my hair really likes manic panic. I have heard great things of arctic fox but haven't tried it myself.

Hot Topic carries Arctic Fox, and Ulta carries Punky Colours. Also Sallys does carry Argan semi permanent color, and they have a bright pink.

The argan colors at Sally's are really good.
