Hi all
I dyed my hair blue-black a month ago. Many thanks to those of you who read and answered my questions. However it's now faded to a rather dusty grey.
I don't like it and I need to cover it, but I'd rather avoid stripping where possible.
The ideas I have so far are:

A grey base can be a great colour to start from. You can get lovely muted shades over a grey base.
What colour would you prefer?
I'm not entirely sure.
I was initially leaning towards the Black Cherry as I've never been purple before, but I did a test strand of Directions Midnight Blue earlier.
I really like the colour, but it's far too blue to pass as natural when put directly on my current colour (sadly).
The Chocolate toner by Scott Cornwall says that it's not suitable for bleached hair, either.
If I were to mix blonde, brown and/or red, my ideal colour would be something like a mix between 130, f30/144 and HL4/33 on this chart .
Is anything like that possible?
The closest colour I can think of to my natural one (about a 3/4) would be, I think, either Dark Chocolate or Darkest Brown by Adore.... but I know I don't want to be one colour all over.
Well... I have no idea what to think. Literally just blowdried it.
Didn't get anything like I hoped I would.... But at least it's purple? Ish? (To my eyes IRL, it is. Mum and camera phone say otherwise)
My scalp is stained even after having washed it, but hopefully I'll get used to it. The staining will come out after a few washes, anyhow.
I mixed 1 whole bottle of Via Naturals 24K Gold with about 3 good dollops of Adore Raging Red and 2 of Dark Chocolate.
