Hey everyone so a few days ago I went to the salon to get my hair dyed and the girl who was working on my hair did not know what she was doing. So I'm hoping that you can help me. I want to dye it red like in the attached picture. My natural hair color is dark brown almost black. And the color that is dyed now is like a black/red. In the sun it looks like a dark red wine color. I really need to find a brand of hair dye that looks like this color so if you guys have any ideas that would be great.

I think you need to mix at least two dyes to get this shade of red. Adore might have what you're looking for, you could mix a red with a brown... Paprika or Crimson or Intense Red + a brown, or Directions Pillarbox Red might also work. Some years ago I used it on unbleached dark brown hair and I got a red similar to the one in the picture you posted 🙂

You'll need to get the current dye out of your hair before you try to dye it red though. You should use a colour remover such as colour b4 or decolour remover which take the dye pigment out of your hair. You should be left with a warmer slightly lighter color than your normal hair which you should be able to put red over.
