I don't rate the Bodyshop stuff.  I tried it, and honestly, Happy Hair Days and Osmo are much better.

My current selection is Happy Hair Days shampoo with Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Restorer conditioner.  SLS-free and silicone-free; my hair and scalp love it!

Fab because that's exactly what I have bought/been using, I really like HHD!

I'm using body shops banana shampoo and conditioner and my god it smells amazing. Hair feels super soft too.

heya, so its been a few weeks using body shops rainforest shampoo and hair butter, plus some coconut oil from there.  Any of there other stuff that *isnt* rainforest does have lots of silicones in (apart from the coconut oil, but all there hair serums etc have silicones in too)

so my hair, felt weird the first week, heavy.  but  think i was putting too much coconut oil on.

The shampoo does need water to lather up, but once it does its pretty awesome.

I bought the hairbutter instead of conditioner as i wanted some deep hair conditioning treatments and omg its worked wonders!! My partner who has very dry and damaged hair and his hair now is so much fuller, shiny and a hell of a lot less frizzier.

Also my hair is mid thigh, even though i only wash it once a week, my partner washes his around 2-3 times a week and ive still got loads of shampoo and hairbutter left, so it goes a long way.

O also when i soaked my hair in the coconut oil for 24 hours before washing my hair was even more super soft and shiny after the wash πŸ™‚

... You could always give the silicone free route a try and see if it makes a difference (Tresemme naturals conditioners are the closest to silicone based in terms of hair feel IME)
...

Sorry to bring back this topic, but I wanted to revisit this particular quote from WickedPixie.  I bought TresemmΓ© Naturals several weeks back, particularly because of this recommendation, as I knew we had similar hair types, and just didn't get around to using it until a few weeks ago.

It is brilliant... amazing stuff, and it does indeed feel like you're using a silicone conditioner, but it's not.  I think I'm hooked, thanks WickedPixie!

Yay! I'm so glad you like it too. It is an essential product in this house, I stock up when it is on offer so I always have a stash of it lol.

I was out walking yesterday and picked up two tubs of it from Superdrug when I noticed it was on sale, then had to lug them 1-1/2 miles home... I would have bought more if I wasn't so far from the house!
