Manic Panic Vampire Red, to Enchanted Forest?

That's my hair right now, I want to go enchanted forest. My camera has a weird filter thing that amps up the color it's more faded in person, the red is still super prominent in the front part of my hair but the rest of my hair is faded reddish pink with white stripes throughout it (which i dont understand I've never had random white hairs).

I dunno how to go from this to enchanted forrest, I just know I want green hair so yeah. im told this would go brown if i put green over it possibly but ive never had this happen. I once went from red to blue without even fading the red and it worked so yeah but anyway.

Well, blue over red is a bit different. Blue is a stronger pigment than green in ways so it’ll cover red a bit better, but it also blends well with red. Green is the opposite colour on the colour wheel, opposite colours never mix well and make brown. Still, if you put blue over red and didn’t get purple, it was either a very strong blue or the red quite a lot more faded than it is now.

Once you’ve got it faded quite a bit more it’ll be fine. Enchanted forest is a bit more on the blue side so would come out fine over faded red, but the more the colour will change.

I guess I'll just keep trying many ways to fade it xD I'm just hella impatient and I always want the new color right this second. That and feeling self concious about having ugly faded hair cause it tempts me to just throw the red back in to fix it haha but hopefully i have the willpower to wait and fade it a lot more. i feel like it'll all fade to a pink, and if that happens i guess i'd end up having to bleach it anyway right? since green over pink would still not get the exact color of enchanted forest to show properly.

I’ve learned to embrace the fade, I even prefer the fade a lot these days! 🙂

Green over pink can work. As long as the pink is well faded. Pink is better than it fading orange though. As enchanted forest is on the realist side anyway, orange would be bad as it’s doesnt mix well with green or blue. Pink does mix well with blue, so it’s preferable though still not ideal. But faded enough it’ll have less and less effect on the green.

Don’t bank on bleach removing the colour though. It can sometimes make matters worse and drive the colour further into the hair shaft.

Have you tried a colour remover?

Had no idea bleach did that. I guess it is a bad idea to bleach then since my hair always goes pink when i bleach red and this seems a pink based red. I can't afford a color remover so I'll just fade it with shampoos xP thank you ^_^
