So, I've been trying to find a good ginger color for so long. I've tried so many colors that came nowhere near where I wanted to go. I'd really love a vibrant but not obnoxious, orangey ginger, like this picture: 
I naturally have medium-brown hair. I got Garnier 74 and that was very close to what I wanted, but its recently been discontinued (of course! ::) Ugh!) The second closest is Feria C74 but its a bit too obnoxiously orange.
Any recommendations? I'm happy to try mixing, but I have no idea where to start.

I used olia 7.40 intense copper and that turns out very similar to your third picture
