Looking for this colour...

I'm seeing that as a golden brown on this monitor, does that sound about right? If so I think you'll be looking at a 5.3 or 4.3 (4.3 being the darker option) depending on how dark you want it to be (for example my hair in my profile picture is a level 5 permanent brown but with a mahogany shade rather than gold, the dyes where the number starts with a 4 would be a shade darker than this).

Golden brown sounds good, it's what I was looking for really but thought this shade has something slightly reddish. I would love to go for the mahogany shade but afraid it would be to red for me...

My current shade is 5/4  which is sort of a warm auburn brown, and that is somewhere between golden brown and mahogany, sort of a bit of a golden ginger tone to it, that might be the type of colour for you if you want something with a little bit of red but not too bright. I'm not sure if I have any photos from before I put an Adore Mahogany over it but if you google Wella Koleston 5/4 you'll be able to see swatches.
