Jo Baz colour remover help!

Hello!
So I've just used this on my dark brown hair and initially when the 60 minutes was up it seemed to have worked really well (a very light copper colour) but it seemed to get darker and darker as I was rinsing and has turned out a hideous dark grey/brown!

Anybody have any ideas why this might have been?
Shall I try again?

Many thanks for any advice xxx

The colour reoxidised, were you rinsing in really hot water? I would suggest using another one and making sure to rinse for a really long time with water as hot as you can stand. And washing your hair first with a clarifying shampoo.

Aaah...I'm just thinking the water randomly went cold halfway through rinsing
Could that be why?
So I have to make sure the water stays mega hot?

Yeah, the hotter the water the more open your hair cuticles will be, this allows the dye molecules to be washed away more easily πŸ™‚

It wouldn't have helped, but I doubt it's the only reason.

But you can use colour removers up to three times anyway, so I'd just do another. Make sure you use clarifying shampoo before to ensure there's no build up on your hair which could block the molecules washing out.
