I really suck at this hair thing. Help please

Okay I've just put on a very diluted Adore Purple Rage over my light blonde hair (some are pale yellow, some are yellow). I thought 1 bowl would be enough for my hair, and I thought diluting the dye with lots of conditioner would be fine. In the end I got very uneven shades of light blue (like a LOT of different shades) and some light green. My roots turned brown.

At this point I just can't decide what to do. I have no dye left and I don't know what dye to order to fix this mess. Should I order a blue dye? Or a turquoise dye? I've been thinking of going turquoise since my hair was light enough, but then I impulsively put on what remains of my purple dye. Bad decisions.

I searched the forum and some suggested to put on diluted pink. But I don't know how that would turn out on my hair. Sorry I can't take a picture, my phone just gave up on me πŸ™

Update: photos added!

If you have the pink dye already I'd suggest doing a strand test and seeing if you like the result. You might want to do it on a blue and a green section to be sure. It sounds to me like it was diluted too much and your roots were darker so they just got toned by the dye. Also I'm not sure what conditioner you used to dilute but it's always best to use a silicone-free one so there's no chance of blocking the dye from sticking to your hair.

Yes I think it was diluted too much and it wasnt enough for my whole head so my friend had to apply it sparingly. Oh, I didnt know I had to use silicone-free conditioner! *face palm*

I don't have any dye left. So should I just order pink instead of blue/turquoise? What brand would you recommend?

Honestly, I've used conditioner with silicone many times and it's never affected the outcome anymore than not using anything. Conditioner itself is something that blocks dye, so I don't really buy into the argument that silicone conduit re will block the dye when it's actually mixed in.

It's more likely because it was applied sparingly.

Do you want blue, pink or purple?

Hmm, I see. So it must be the application then. Honestly, I don't know what I want yet  Blue, turqoise, or lilac/lavender. Any of the 3 would be fine, but not pink. Not ready for pink yet  πŸ˜€

If I put on Punk Turquoise or Atomic Turquoise over my light blue/green base, would the turquoise appear or would it just go green?

Sorry for the late reply. Your current color is too dark to cover. I'd suggest fading it out first. It does look like you have quite a bit of gold still in your base so I think the best you could get is a darker teal/ turquoise unless you lighten your base further. Blues and pastels need a very light yellow base.
