How to color first grey hair?

Hello everyone! I noticed I start getting grey hair. I would say I have maybe 50-100 grey hairs on my head at this point. They are up to 7cm long. I realize there will be more grey hair and the ones I already got will keep growing, so I want to start coloring it.
I have brown hair that is a little bit above my waist. It is dark brown closer to the roots and gradually lightens to light brown at ends. I have never colored my hair before.
What would you suggest me to do/use  (product brand, name, shade) to cover grey hair that I have? My goal is to stay as close to my natural color as possible. Is there a product that covers grey hair without changing not-grey hair too much?
I would highly appreciate any suggestions! Thanks in advance!

There's no dye that will change only your not grey hair. Unfortunately it's the other way around! Semi permanent dyes, without peroxide, won't dye grey hair in general.

The best thing is to find a dye that's as close to your natural hair as possible. If you want to use a semi dye you'll have to pre soak with peroxide for about 20 minutes.

In the UK Clairol do a wash in wash out called Nice and Easy (but you have to be careful to get the 8 wash one not the 24 wash one which contains peroxide) that isn't too bad at disguising grey a bit and it does last a few washes, not sure if they do it where you are though.

Long term you might find you want to start using something that uses a developer as it can be hard to make anything stick to grey hairs for any length of time, I have had very little success with pre-softening with peroxide to make semi permanents stick and I have only a few grey hairs.

What I do is dye just my roots with a permanent dye each time they come through (after dying it all over the first time) and then keep the colour fresh with semi permanents so that I'm not continually damaging the lengths! (as I say I don't have much grey but I dye my hair dark brown from my natural dark ash blonde)

Do you guys know about this product: Clairol Advanced Gray Solution? Any idea where I can find their shades? I cannot find them on Clairol website, it only says there are 9 shades… Also, does this product work on white people’s hair? It looks like they use mostly African-American women for advertising it. ???
