I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to achieve either of these shades of purple? The picture with the red hair is me, that's the colour it was before fading, it fades to a dull pinky/red. Also I'm in the UK so I'd prefer dye that's easily accessible. My hair has also been previously bleached, the lighting is just poor.

How pink does it fade?
If it is very pink, you could just put some blue on top. Otherwise, add a bit of pink to the blue dye to get a purple.

Most of us are in the UK too and the forum is owned by one of the best places to get dye in the UK 🙂 http://www.beeunique.co.uk/ So that's easy!
Can you post a photo as it's possible it's light enough to put it a blue, with a little dab of pink directly over.

Ah it does fade pretty pink, I think a purple based blue like directions neon blue or SFX blue velvet diluted would make a nice purple over your hair if you fade it down to the pinky colour 🙂

Your hair will be pink already as all you need to do is add blue over it. You can do strand tests to test how the colour will come out.
