How do I get this hair?

I really want this hair but I need to know what the technique for colouring it this way is and which colours were used. The stylist said the colours were a mix of up to 15 different brands (and up to 4 brands mixed per colour), so I wanted to know if you guys can help me find some colours I can buy that look similar.

And yes, I know I could shell out hundreds of dollars and get it done professionally, but to be honest, the salons around here know hardly a thing about "crazy" hair and I doubt they would make it look half as good as the photos. If I do it myself I can save a lot of money.

Here is a video of the hair in action:

No need to go to a salon lol.
Those colours won't be difficult to replicate, have a look at all the shades available on Beeunique. Any of the brands can be mixed, and you can dilute with white conditioner to make the colours paler. You could even mix those 5 colours yourself with just a pink, yellow and turquoise (mix the pink and turquoise for the lilac and the blue)

The difficult part will be getting a really light blonde base, it needs to be as light as the inside of a banana and very even for pastels.

Yeah, in all honesty, that hair isn't brilliantly done anyway. Looks very pretty, but there's a lot of muddy colours in there where they haven't washed it out separately. It's actually dead easy to do what they've done. I've done that in exactly the way wicked pixie says, just used 3 colours and got about 10 different shades of pastels. No need for loads!
