Alright, here's the story.
Back in early February I used Loreal's Colorista (Red) on my dark blonde hair. It was supposed to stay for 2 weeks. It never fully came out though. It's my mother's birthday coming up so for the past week I've been trying to get the remaining red out of my hair.
I just want to clarify that most of my hair is back to it's natural colour now. There's only just red tints near my roots (not on my roots to be clear though). It makes my hair look uneven and patchy.
I've been using the homemade Vitamin C treatment with Head and Shoulders, and that seemed to dull the brightness of the red down, but it's still there and quite visible. I kept trying and trying the treatment for the past week and it stopped fading 2 days ago.
Is there anything I can do to get the rest out? I've heard of Colour B4 in Boots is good but I've also heard that it's a big waste of money and can damage your hair. I really don't want to re-dye my whole hair a dark blonde colour, I just want my natural fully back (it's like 80% natural colour 20% red). Please help.
P.S I'm in the UK I don't have Sally's here.
P.P.S Do you think a hairdresser can do anything about getting rid of the red tones? Because at this point if I know that a hairdresser can fix these red tones I'd rather pay more for a professional to get rid of these weird red bits...

Don't go to a hairdresser. They'll refuse to do anything or use bleach.
As you're in the U.K., for once you actually have far more options. There's lots of colour removers here. Ignore what people say about damage. It's only damaging if you use a 'stripper'. Removers just dry out the hair a little, but nothing a good deep conditioner doesn't sort out. Normally where people think it's damaging is because their hair is already damaged from over processing and because they have to clarify wash their hair before using the colourb4 it strips any silicones that are patching the hair together. So suddenly, damaged that is already there starts to show.
Do try a colour remover, there are cheaper ones. Jo bazz, which you can sometimes find in Savers and places like that can be cheap and it's pretty much as good. It is most definitely worth a try as the alternative is trying to tone the red with green which is tricky as you have such a small amount.

Thank you, I'll try and find some JoBaz. It doesn't seem so popular though, I can only find it on the Tesco website and Amazon (though I've never seen it in Tesco either). Any other places where you can get it other then online?

I'll try and find a savers in my area I suppose...
I've heard this one called 'The One 'n Only Colorfix' which apparently is really good, but will it do anything to my natural hair? I want to order it and try it, but I'm very hesitent.

Colorfix is a US only product. The ones we have in the UK are all actually much better.
I only mentioned Savers because JoBaz is cheaper and you said you didn't want to waste money. There are a lot of colour removers available in the UK. There's loads in Boots or Superdrug normally. Just don't go for any called a "stripper".
Colour removers don't do anything to natural hair. Ones called a stripper will normally lighten natural hair a bit.
