So, with Royal Navy and Purple Rage (both Adore) my hair slowly faded to dead green mermaid again. Nothing too terrible as that would be easy to dye with Adore's Dark Chocolate and in the future dilute Royal Navy severely as it bleeds. I've seen worse but still, don't like it.
But... the toplayer stayed blue. I've never seen such a sticky blue but here we are. It hardly faded at all. It remained a deep dark blue. And Dark Chocolate makes it even more blue! That wouldn't be a huge problem except I have an interview tomorrow and virgin roots. I've tried to even it out with Adore's Pink Blush but to no avail: It. Is. Blue. The lower layers are kind of my natural haircolour but warmer but that damn toplayer...
Luckily the appointment is downtown and in the afternoon, and the nearest supermarket sells box dyes and is open in the early morning. Not exactly the way I planned things but okay, I'll go back to black for the holidays. ;D Perhaps a blueblack as that is still more 'normal' than my current haircolour and hopefully it fades easier and less reddish than normal black box dye.
Anyway, be warned fellow crazy colour fans: Royal Navy is one sticky, unbeatable, hardly budging colour.

You need to add orange to neutralise it!

No orange here and no time for it as well. My own damn fault as I hoped and thought Dark Chocolate was warmer than it actually is. To live and learn!
It's cool to have black hair again, haven't had that for ages as I hated the reddishbrownish thing it always became after two weeks. But it's very Dita von Teese, especially when it's a blueblack. Only downside is that I'll have to look for my black eyebrowpencil again. 😀
And at least the roots are gone for awhile.
Edit: but good point! When I go back attempting my long wanted bi-flag hair, I will order some orange as well!
