Home hair extensions?

Hi, just wondering about doing hair extensions at home.

I'm a teacher and I would not have time to mess about with them on a regular basis, so I would need to be able to put them in and then leave them for about 7 weeks at a time. I've tried (cheap) clip in ones before and never been able to actually leave the house for fear of ridicule. I've also braided in fake dreads which looked awesome but totally unmanageable and lasted less than a week. I need something that looks pretty natural and blends in with my own hair type (messy and wavy) and pretty cheap.
I'm not the kind of person who spends ages getting ready, I don't have time to do anything with my hair in the morning. I'm just fed up with my hair being too short!
My hair is past my shoulders so I reckon I would only need them at the bottom.
Is any of this possible??

If you don't want to spend any time on your hair, I wouldn't recommend extensions.  They were way too high maintenance for me, and I spend nearly 2 hours getting ready in the morning - so I'm willing to put up with maintenance!  Oh and FYI, if you want them for length you can't just put them in the bottom, or else there will be a ledge in your hair and everyone will be able to see where your real hair ends.

I'd say check out a Halo. It's a hair extension on a wire and takes minutes to put in in the morning!

Was totally going to mention a halo. If you get a weave you need to be prepared for dedicating more time than normal just in order to leave the house!
