Help with hair..its just...a mess

Hi guys...

so basically im really down at the minute, i cant seem to fix my hair at all. I havent dyes it for months ive had a hair cut and the only product ive used is a scott cornwall red pigment thats like a wash in wash out thingy.

My hair is horrid. Its all different colours where some dyes havent stuck, some have not yet washed out since BEFORE Christmas (remember that directions plum issue where hair was turning blue?? yeah im a victim of that!)

I just want some sort of hair thats all one shade or at least in the same colour family, rather then the mess im stuck with right now..

My hair has roots...which are light brown.
The top of my hair to the middle of my ears is red/brown.
From the middle of my hair to the ends its varying shades of red/brown, murky green/brown, light brown, very pale green and faded turquoise. (<not intentional)

The level of red in my hair differs according to whether i use that red pigment, which ive not used for the last 3 weeks as i dont want red hair....

Ill include pictures but its really hard to capture the actual colours of it!!

ideally id like to keep my hair as light as i could as removing black is too hard!

I have on hand a Jo baz colour remover, a bleach, various purples, and a natural light golden brown  (superdrug own brand) but i can get another colour if i need it...

what can i do to fix it? I dont want red hair and i dont particularly want black hair but will if its the only fix.

NOTE: I dyed my hair plum around abouts october/november time last year, and after trying to fade it for weeks, in about march, i applied a maroon red/brown permanent box shade to try counteract the blue green mess that i was left with. The result is what you see only some of the red tones have faded since march...

So the blue/green/turquoise sounds like it's just stuck in there. A lot of people have been having trouble removing the new plum and the new turquoise, so you're not alone in this <3 It sounds like you're going to have to work around that chunk of dark blue you have on your right if you want it to all be an even color or in the same color family.

I would use the color remover to remove the permanent dye and it may help with the plum too. I'm sure you already know to rinse really well after, and you can use peroxide on a test strand to make sure you've rinsed out all the color molecules. I would deep condition after that and do a vinegar rinse, then I would test strand another fading treatment on the semi areas. I would try doing the bleach powder + shampoo + oils technique, it may help at least budge it to a lighter color so you'll have more options and not be confined to just a dark blue or purple. I did it and it removed a ton of my Atomic Pink (which we all know how crazy sticky that stuff is)which you can see the before and after in the link, and you can see how much it took out from @TabithaBlue's hair too:

If it does work well for you too, you'll have a lot more options. That light green though I don't think will be an issue with anything, and once you remove the permanent we can see what base color you're left with. You may be able to do a bright pinky purple, a bright blue, turquoise, variations of the 3 together, pink/turquoise/purple, or depending on how light that blue gets you could even go for orange with Adore or SFX (if you can find any that is lol).

Just let us know how it goes after the color remover and if you do test strand or try any other fading treatments on it and we can help you figure out your options πŸ™‚ I'm so sorry you're going through this with your hair and the new plum. I know you've been battling it for months, I remember reading your other previous posts about it. I do think that after removing the permanent dye + I'm really hoping that that fading treatment works well for you, that your base will be much easier to work with than it is now
