Hello everyone :.)
Well, where to begin o.O I have recently started dying my hair crazy colors, and was doing really well, but the last time I tried, it ended quite messy. There were patches of Virgin rose, combined with spots of Octane orange and some sunshine, so I went to the hairdresser, aiming to get a more natural color to my hair, let it rest and then try for some dip dye in a couple of months.
She said it was something she could handle. The first time she bleached it and but an ash/beige color over, it went fairly well, but then there were some green spots, so after a month I went back and she suggested a color that would remove dye and replace it with some ash tones....well, that didn't quite work. My hair turned dusty purple and...suspicious yellow (see attachment) She then tried to bleach it...again. It did nothing, only made my hair incredible dry.
I left the salon in tears, and incredible frustrated, so now I hope that you can help me with some ideas of what on earth do I do?
I considered bleaching (bleach bath perhaps?) the yellow bits, just making it pourus enough, and then add some atomic turquoise, but I have been trying to soften my hair 2 times now with treatment, sitting for a couple of hours and its still quite dry, so I am afraid that it will get fried.
I also considered a box dye of some light color, natural something, but I am having doubts whether that's a good idea, or am I just making it worse xD
Should I just admit defeat and see a hairdresser who knows what she is doing?

You need to stay away from anything containing peroxide - so bleach or bleach baths and any box dye where have to mix things together. Your hair has been subjected to peroxide three or four times in a month when you should really only do it once a month at the very most.
Your hair needs TLC to start with. Many of us (including me) swear by Joico K-Pak Reconstructor, which you can get from Amazon. It's pricy but works wonders on your hair. You may also need a trim to get rid of damaged ends and it needs to go an inch shorter than the damaged bits to prevent any more damage. Also invest in a deep conditioner like Joico Hydrator. (I sound like a shill but I swear I'm not ;))
But what you could do with what you have now is an awesome ombré! Your lilac is a colour many of us battle to get and yours is gorgeous! I would get yourself a good purple semi dye (like Directions Plum or SFX Pimpin' Purple) and apply over the yellow bits - it will take fine over yellow - and "smudge" it up onto the lilac. Awesome!
I'm so sorry this happened to you. A lot of hairdressers don't really know what they're doing with bleach, which is why we all do it ourselves. X
Thank you! :.) <3
I have been so frustrated since I got it done, almost gone in the bleach trap already. I will try to get a hold on Joico K-Pak, and I have ordered a bottle of Fudge Torture Tonic, though I only have experience with their hair spray, but it sounded promising :.)
Awesome idea with the purple dye, I will order it right away, cant wait to change it. I have washed my hair a couple of times now and the purple have faded a bit, but still there.
Hehe good point, I am sure I´ll just keep bleaching my own hair from now on, this has cost me a fortune, I have never spent so much money on my hair before, and this is the result xD Think I´ll change to another hairdresser as well and never let them near me again with bleach xD
Thx again :.)
The lilac is a lovely colour! I agree that Tabitha's suggestion of a darker purple would look great, or you could put a diluted pink on the yellowy bits to create a lovely coral/peach colour, or a straight pink. Pale blue over the yellow would create a turquoise colour too, you have lots of options to turn this 'disaster' into something truly stunning.
