Hey everybody,
I want to dye my bleached blond hair back to my natural roots colour, which is close to a dirty blonde.
For a bit of hair history:
-I had my hair highlighted around 5 months ago. All these highlights are fairly white/yellow blonde.
-I didn't like how it covered my head, so I went in a day later with bleach on areas the highlights didn't colour. The hair in these sections is very brassy and yellow.
-Anything else that isn't bleached is orange because around a year ago I dyed my blonde hair with henna dye, trying to achieve strawberry blonde but ended up ginger instead.
So as a wrap, my hair is a mix of orange, yellow, brassy and some white blonde tones.
I really want to achieve my natural roots colour, which is close to a level 7, a dark/dirty blonde. I want my whole head to be a solid, consistent colour that matches my roots. I want to avoid accidentally dying my hair green but also avoid having an auburn colour.
I also want to buy a box dye treatment, or anything cheap of that nature because I don't want to spend over $15 on my hair. I know my local Shoppers Drug Mart sells more pristine hair dyes that might have a better result.
Thanks for any advice! *thx*
Here are photos of my hair colours. The top view are my roots with a regrowth of around 5 inches. There are orange tones mixed with my yellow-white tones. Underneath that is very yellow tones. Framing my face are more yellow-orange tones. As for damage, my hair is fairly healthy, except the under part I bleached myself.
