Help; Dark Grey Ombre

Hi guy,
I wonder if you can help, I am trying to achieve a dark grey ombre.
I pre-lightened my hair over 3 bleaching sessions over a few weeks, I previously had faded out red and about 4-5iches of roots regrowth dark blonde around level 7/8.
I purchased Renbow smokey silver and slate blue to do an ombre from dark at the root to light at the ends. This was my base I started with (bleached 3 times over a few weeks)

Obviously I didnt lighten by hair enough, but what I find really weird is that my roots seem to have gone warmer even though the slate blue is a blue base, I'm a level 7/8 dark ash blonde.

Now can anyone recommend what I can do to fix this? My ends (old permanant hair colour/Bleached) have gone green the mids of my hair have turned out a nice blue silver but my roots are a total mess greens, reds and oranges.
Will I have to bleach my hair again to achieve something like this.
