help brighten my red

Have you been using a permanent red dye? If so I would suggest using a colour remover such as colour b4 to get rid of The build up, as you bleached before you should have a much lighter base underneath. You can use colour removers up to three times before they won't work any more, and they are non damaging so are much better for your hair than bleach bathing. Just deep condition afterwards as they can dry your hair.

If you have been using semi permanent dyes then try out some fading methods such as leaving anti dandruff shampoo or washing up liquid on your hair for around half an hour and rinsing in hot water. Also vitamin c treatments and the bleach powder with shampoo method (there's a tutorial on the bleach powder method in the tutorials section, and a search for the other fading methods will give you loads more info on them as well)

Its a mix of both tbh lol

I was going to try the bleach with shampoo cos i have that here and i hate the smell of color b 4 ;p
