Hi! π
So a couple of days ago i went to my hairdresser in order to dye my hair Grey. Normal procedure, bleached my hair a bit and then he applied the color, he told me not to wash my hair for ~2 days, so i did that.
After those 2 days passed by, i washed my hair, but for some odd reason all the grey i had disappeared, so i was left with my bleached hair xD
A couple of days ago, i went back to the hairdresser so i could dye it again, he did that but right after i washed my hair again, it disappeared!
I told him what was going on, and he said my hair had a slightly green pigment on it (i have blond hair btw), so some colors wouldn't work out, and grey seems to be one of those π
I was wondering, is there any way i can dye my hair grey/white without the color falling after washing my hair? Or can you recommend some colors that would work based on my hair color and his green pigment? Thank u π
Firstly, how are you washing your hair?
Secondly. No, there's no real permanent way of dying your hair grey. It will always fade because it's a pale colour and they fade very quickly. The reason being, there's very little pigment there so it washes off easily. Unless you're going dark grey, there's not much pigment. You just have to do it with each wash, or use methods which will make it last longer. And probably still have to add dye each time you wash! Do it with the right dyes and you won't damage your hair.
Thirdly, can you post a photo?
