Hey everyone. I recently moved and didn't keep much, including my hairdryer. So I'm trying to do some research as to what I might want. I usually like Ion dryers, idk if it matters but it seemed to help with frizz. I hear ceramic and tourmaline and all that is good too and some dryers have more than one of those things. I like a cool shot, and for it not to break super fast, but I hardly *ever* use a dryer. So for that reason I really don't want to spend over like, $40 for one. People I asked already say that 'the better ones are more expensive'. I literally use it about once a year, maybe a few times for parts of my hair, but almost never. So it's really not worth it for me to get one that is that much. I like looking at reviews first, but some that I of the dryers I was looking into had kind of bad reviews of them either breaking quickly or not helping with frizz at all. So I just wanted to get person to person info on what make/model you find pretty good for the price. Thanks!
I've always had good luck with Babyliss. I did get a Vidal Sassoon hairdryer at the end of last year, and I loved it ... until it broke because it kept sucking the odd long strand of hair in to the motor and, eventually, it did that one too many times and stopped working.
I had a Babyliss for probably a good five years before that, though, and I've bought a Babyliss again after the Vidal Sassoon one broke and I haven't had any issues yet. The model I currently have is Elegance--it's got two speed settings, three heat settings and a cool shot, plus a nice filter on the back to stop my hair from ending up in the motor.
