HELP needed please!!

I neeeeed a new haircut (again)....been growing it for about a year and have finally graduated from pixie cut to shoulder length - I really don't want to lose much off the length (as my best mate has threatened extreme violence if I chop it off again!!) but it desperately needs a good cut to get rid of the damaged ends plus a re-style and shape but I haven't got a clue where to go next.

Can anyone suggest a new funky yet low maintenance style that is suitable for medium length, straightish but slightly wavy hair?  Send pics too if you can please πŸ™‚

Thanking you in advance! xXx

I always advocate an inverted bob (long at front, shorter at back) - I've never known it look bad on anyone and I think you'd really suit it!

I used to love having choppy layers when my hair was shoulder length.  Even if you don't style it, it still looks a bit spiky all on its own.  I used to wear it with the layers all the way up to my cheek bones and face framing slithers.

If you're not wanting loads of short pieces to grow out again, the inverted bob as Tabitha suggested is always a good option.

my favorite haircut was when I did an A line Bob.  It looks really cute with pigtails! because they are all short/long!

or when I had a side cut. Clearly it has been awhile since you posted that but if you are like me I take FOREVER to actually cut my hair.

I agree with one of the previous commentors. Inverted bob is a great haircut. Blunt bob also works great for medium-length hair (if you don`t want to chop off your back).  Asymmetrical with shaved side - definitely my favourite. I had such a haircut once. But it`s so hard to grow out the hair afterwards... The first one, the 5th and 19th here (all A-line bobs) http://therighthairstyles.com/20-best-a-line-bob-hairstyles-screaming-with-class-style/ are great. As for me, of course. Waiting to grow out my hair to make one of them  *loveeyes* Which one to choose? I think number 5...
