I've been searching all day for help somewhere. I figured it was worth a shot to post here. My hair stylist completely messed up my hair and cut it short by 5 inches. I didn't notice until she was already doing it. It looks terrible on me and I can't find any hair styles that I can do that look good nor can I afford to go get it fixed. I also don't want it cut any shorter. I start classes on Monday and I have to work tomorrow. I am desperate for help. Below is a really bad picture but it's all I have.

To be honest, I think the length looks good on you, you can pull it off! You can do loads of styles with it that length, however I'm upset for you that it wasn't what you had expected.
Whilst the stylist cannot undo what's been done, if you're unhappy with the results, it might be worth going back to the salon and ask them if they can fix it better to your standards or shape it without losing any more length.
I think it looks good! Although because I don't know what you had in mind, I completely understand the frustration. I find it difficult to trust stylists with hair scissors because they sometimes just don't listen!

I know you don't want it any shorter, but I think adding some layers in would help give it a bit of movement and shape. You could keep the length the same, just add in some layers up to your cheekbones.
