I went from this

To this after an extremely bad break up

But now it reached shoulder lenght even though i chop off about 2 or 3cm every month, it grows an average of 4cm or so per month...crazy huh? Hormone problems, never liked them as much as i do now  πŸ˜›

I think in about 6 months I will be at my goal length!(top of the butt)  This is my hair right now.  I am getting extensions in a few days and am super excited for them.  I'm going to dye my extensions tomorrow and will do an ombre to greyish lilac πŸ™‚

Thanks crowcrow πŸ™‚

I found my tape measure today and I'm at 16 inches now after my regular trims in my attempt of hair growing. I'd like to get to 28 inches...hmmmm!! The average would take me to 22 inches in that time though

It is very pretty raremens. I don't think i could cope with hair that long. It gets to waist length and i feel it is long enough and start trimming. I really admire anyone with hair that long who manages to bleach and dye it, I find it so laborious with long hair. Plus really expensive lol.

it usually lives in a french plaite when im training/performing etc, or up in buns.  I only bleach the front section, which is shorter than the rest and only bleach every 10-12 months, the rest is unbleached.

I dont find it exspensive really, bleach once a year, directions hairdye i get really cheap too.  shampoo and conditioner wise i only use tiny amounts.

Plus its fun getting to play with all the different hair styles i can do πŸ™‚ I find it all quite easy to maintain.  shower in the evening, wash+condition once a weak stick in two plaites, wake up next day and its perfectly wavy ^^

How many tubs of Directions do you use? I need 3, even if I dilute it with most colours. I have mine silver at the moment, but 3 or 4 tubes of Pravana silver would have been a ridiculous price, so only my roots got the Pravana lol and the rest got a home made concoction.

i only one 1 and half tubs of directions, then i measure out a tub of conditioner in the directions pot to dilute πŸ™‚

edit- and that covers all of my hair πŸ™‚

lol my hair is so short and still takes a full tub of directions! No idea how you get one and a half tubs (even diluted) to cover yours!

i thought i actually used a lot :p though i do stick it in a shower cap, cover in clingfilm and a towel for about 2 hours.  So maybe that helps get it covered everywhere on my hair (so far no major bathroom stains either  πŸ˜€ and ive proberly just jinxed that! )

Me either! I use the equivalent of at least 5 tubs when you add in the water and conditioner! I can get away with less if  I just squidge it through wet hair, but for full coverage it takes a ton of dye and many hours to apply. I expect unbleached hair is less thirsty, my hair just drinks the dye up.

That's exactly what I do too πŸ™‚ granted, I like it to be smothered, I probably could use a bit less, but no less than 3/4 of a pot. When I do more than one colour, it's usually more than a pot in total. No idea how you do it πŸ™‚
