Hair dye is uneven!!

Hey everyone need help! I got my hair done almost 2 weeks ago.  I got a blondish balayage with medium brown roots.  The problem is that my roots on the sides and under my hair are dark but not on top.  This seems to always happen to me no matter what.  I also got my hair toned and it was ashy but is already getting brassy and some of my hair on the bottom layers look orangish.  I got a blue/purple shampoo that isn't really working thats by matrix.  Not sure if my stylist didn't tone my hair correctly??  The layers on the bottom go from dark brown to orangish to blonde.  But it's supposed to be brown to blonde highlights because it's a balayage.  Need help!!
