Hair brushes and combs.

I'm in need of a new brush since I broke mine, I've always used the cheap plastic ones but I'd like to get one that isn't going to rip my hair out and cause any unnecessary damage.

what's the best kind of brush or comb I can get?

I have a denman D14 brush and i love it. I even have a tiny version for my purse. It is a wide toothed brush so like the tangle teezer, it doesnt pull your hair but detangles it quickly.

Personally, I find that a combination of my oval shaped paddle brush and my super-old isnis works fine for me and doesn't damage my hair too much :]

I bought a Tangle Teezer yesterday thanks to you ladies and I love it already.

my previous brush was a Denman and it always pulled my hair too much and wouldn't get those little annoying knots out of my hair.

The tangle tezer is indeed great. But I have now found the most awesome hair brush! (For me at least πŸ˜‰ ) It looks like this and is called "100% pure wooden hair brush" and it's a big brush with kind of hard bristles that detangles and brings out the sebum from the scalp onto the hair so it makes it super shiny.
