Hi everyone! A little while ago I tried to bleach my hair at home, bad idea. No matter what I did or what toner I used, it was awful. I freaked out and dyed it the first brown box dye I could get my hands on. It's been a few months and I'm wanting to do something fun with my hair, but I'm terrified it'll end badly like last time. Do you have any recommendations for a dye that should work with my hair color as it is now? I'll attach a pic from today. Also, how much lighter do you think I should go if I'm wanting a pastel? Thank you!!! *lovestars*

For pastel hair you need very pale yellow, toned to white for blue or purple. Pink will go warmer coral colour if there’s lots of yellow still. Green would work with a little yellow, obviously. In fact blue over slightly yellow hair normally makes a nice turquoise.
For how it is now, medium to deep pinks will work, as will red and orange. Medium to dark purple too. Blue will go a teal colour, which can be gorgeous, if it’s not you can probably add more blue. As it’s on the slightly orange side green will be tougher, but a deep green with extra blue added would probably work for a dark green.
