I currently have a level 4 root and the rest of my hair is super ash blonde/light grey/platinum. I want to go a light golden brown similar to the girl on the box. I know I need to fill the bottom of my hair first with either a protein filler or a demi permanent I just am unsure as to which color to fill with and then what to do with my roots. I really don't want to bleach them. Should I fill with a dark brown protein filler to semi match my roots and then go from there? *anyone*
