Im going to buy sleek restorer tomorrow, its on offer Β£2 for the bigger bottle (400ml) in Asda at the mo, the smaller bottles are more expensive. Have to check boots too see which is cheaper.  I was just going to post asking if anyone had tried it yet πŸ™‚

I saw it at Boots last week and, because it looked new, I searched the ingredients for silicones (as I love to spend my before-work time looking at cosmetics!).  But I was restricting my purchases till payday, lol, so I put it back on the shelf and I didn't buy any.

Just today, I got one of each of the Garnier Ultimate Blends: the Sleek Restorer with coconut oil and cocoa butter and the Colour Illuminator with argan oil and cranberry (I think that one's also silicone-free*).  And especially after seeing your review, I thought I'd go for it.  They're on sale at Boots at the moment at half-price, something like Β£1.94 per bottle or some silly money.  Would have bought more but didn't feel like carrying more home.

So next time I wash, I will try it. πŸ˜€

* I'm not all THAT fussed about silicone-free stuff at the moment, but I like having a good selection at home when I do want to moisturise without adding silicones.

Thanks for this post and the review, Intemp!

Just to chime in, I bought the "Sleek Restorer" and "Nourishing Repair" small bottles to test them out.  I honestly think these conditioners are amazing and probably my favourite (i've tried a lot of them).  The Sleek Restorer smells incredible and I can still smell it in my hair between washes.

My only gripe is the smaller bottles have trouble standing up and slide down into my bath tub :p

A few washes later, and I can definitely say there's no product build up with this one.

I have a new favourite conditioner, lol.  Or rather, a new favourite conditioner line, as it sounds like some other ones rate as well!

I am hoping that this stuff is/will be available throughout the rest of Europe, I really want to test this one the ingredients sound great. So far I have not found a cheap silicone free conditioner. I just want to find out if CC will be ok for me, is that too much to ask...  πŸ˜›
I can't stand most conditioners as they weight down my hair too much and it get's greasy, but I don't want to use shampoo every day...

Well I just tried it, and TBH I am not hugely impressed. It is quite thin, definitely more of a washing conditioner than a finishing one.
For my hair (long, fine, curly, bleached, dry/damaged) I need a much more nourishing conditioner as my final one,  and this was no match for my usual Tresemme Naturals. Even at half price it is twice the price of the cheapy conditioners i usually use for washing, so I won't be buying this one again. I am interested to hear how the rest of the range performs though.

Sorry that it doesn't work out well for your hair type, Wicked Pixie.  My hair is long, fine, thickly distributed, bleached once and pinstick straight, and it loves it, but everyone's hair, of course, is different.

For future reference, I gave the rest of the line a quick once over this weekend.  All of the shampoos have SLS in them, but the conditioners all seem to be silicone free.

That's a shame Wicked Pixie!  Although, I have to say, I didn't find this conditioner to be thin at all, to me it was very thick and creamy!  I guess that just goes to show how different people's perceptions of 'thin' and 'thick' can be!

I used the 1-minute mask treatment from this range (the sleek restorer one) at the weekend, and I loved that one too! Also silicone free, it's super thick and creamy (to me anyway!) and smells just as lovely as the normal conditioner.  It made my hair feel very moisturized and soft too. Will definitely be buying this again!

The 'Marvellous Transformer' conditioner definitely has amodimethicone in it, I have no idea about the shampoos lol as I don't use shampoo at all so I didn't even look at them.
The Sleek Restorer conditioner might be better for people who are looking for a lighter conditioner and who want to avoid build up. I prefer the heavier feel of Tresemme Naturals, it is the only range of silicone free conditioners i have found that has a similar effect on my hair as a regular silicone based conditioner. I need the weight and 'coating' to help straighten my curls and avoid frizz. My hair is waist length and mostly bleached fully to palest yellow, so it is pretty demanding when it comes to products.

Ah, I didn't see that one on the shelves--must have been out of stock, so thanks for the heads up!  There were a few holes in the shelves and it was a bit messy, this line is proving to be really popular!

The shampoo (yes, sulphate city but I'm trying to fade) doesn't seem to work for me, but using Tresemme clarifying and this conditioner makes my hair feel gorgeous πŸ™‚
