Dying back to natural

Does anyone ever get a craving to dye their hair back natural? I've been feeling like this for the past 3 months, the reason I'm not doing it are so vain like, coloured hair is my thing around uni, i won't feel alternative any more, if i change my mind like i always do it'll take forever to get out of my hair ugh.

I just get so jealous of pierced, tattooed girls with long dark brown hair or blonde and I drool a little πŸ™
Please say i'm not the only one who feels this way? ha
thanks guys πŸ™‚

Get a wig! You can get amazing ones online, if you're feeling natural hair but that on, shove a beanie hat on if you want to look even more natural and I bet it passes in a few days!

I get this feeling a lot. Partly due to laziness, I would love to have a hair colour that required no effort at all, and partly because I do get sick of the attention sometimes, it would be nice to just blend in and not have all the questions.

Yeah I sometimes hanker for natural coloured hair but it usually only lasts a few days. It's generally when I've had just one comment too many - seriously, you think I've never heard "Is that your natural colour? Har har har" before?

I have genuinely never wanted natural hair since I dyed it bright. I'll be really upset if I ever have a job where I need to dye it a natural colour again πŸ™

I would also be very cross if I was forced to change my hair for work. I have usually kept my hair an all over unnatural colour for 2 or 3 years tops before going back to at least partly natural. I don't have that option now, so I have no idea where I will go if I get sick of unnatural colours. Possibly blonde, I dunno.

Sometimes I really crave it, but it is more because I can't be bothered with the hassle of bleaching! Although I have been eyeing up adore paprika a lot recently!

I totally understand your need to change...whatever...about your hair, for whatever flimsy reasons. Seems you'll need piercings and tatts, too πŸ˜‰ If so, go for it!

@"going natural": I did it, rued it, got the t-shirt. Natural hair is just not me. It feels like defeat, just when I think about the metric ton of money I unloaded on my hairdresser, just to get this bloody hair!

I've been getting the urge to do my hair black again. Might do it blue black so it fades out blue.

I sometimes want my natural hair back... but if I have it I get really annoyed with what a stupid colour it is and want to change it again within a week!

Sometimes I wonder what my hair would look like being dark brown again - it's grown a lot since last summer, the last time I saw it dark.  It was always shorter and had horrible, unruly/curly layers for so many years, and I sometimes look at girls with longer, dark brown hair and like how it looks on them.  I also absolutely LOVED when I did blue black.

I think at this point, I'd really regret darkening it again - and don't have a strong urge to do that at the moment.  I'm happy being a brunette who's wearing blonde hair right now πŸ˜€

Thanks everyone for the comments

It's not cause of work, I work at CeX now which is great for the alternative look, but I'm a massive fan of scarlet saint on YouTube and she recently dyed her hair brown and I'm super jealous, on top of that I feel like I'm not taken seriously or I'm still considered immature or a child with my hair the way it is, the amount of comments I get at Uni about my hair falling out when I'm 25 with how much I dye it is kind of upsetting. So I don't know what I want, I've got natural wigs but they never satisfy me.

This feeling just won't leave me I just don't know what to do ugh

I've just gone back to black and put ebony on which looks blue/black in the pot, shall I let you know how it fades out?

Just so you know...25 isn't a magical age where everything goes wrong so I'm sure if it's going to fall out for any reason it won't be because you've turned 25 πŸ˜‰

Besides, surely everything on here shows you can do what you like to your hair as long as you monitor and maintain the condition?

Just an idea, why don't you ombre or two tone your hair with an alternative colour and a natural colour? Might find a happy medium there

That's what I was thinking deloria, dying top half dark brown and the underneath a bright colour. I've got some blue on the way ATM so I'm gunna do my roots top up the colour and redo my extensions and then see how I feel, it might be just a phase πŸ˜›
