Dyed my hair orange by accident. How do I get it to blonde?

*boo*
I started out with dark blonde/light brown ashy hair and used naturtint 9n honey blonde, but my hair turned a very bright orange-blonde. Then, I used loreal brass banisher and it helped tone the orange slightly but mostly it just darkened my hair. What can I do now to get rid of the orange?

The picture is what my hair looks like now.  I want it to be a cool or neutral blonde.  Or at least not orange.

I ordered Wella color charm liquid toner t14 pale ash blonde and L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme with Pro-Keratine Complex, Champagne Blonde 8.5A. Will either of those products work on my hair?

Hi I think your best bet if you're just looking to remove the red tones in your hair is to get a colour remover like colour b4, which are designed to take colour molecules out of your hair and are non damaging. You can use them up to three times and you should be left with a much cooler blonde that may be the shade you are looking for. This way you can get the red tones out without damaging your hair.

If it is still too orange for you then you can either use purple conditioner and leave it on for a long time to tone or you can make your own deposit only toner using a little purple dye diluted in conditioner a lot.

I wouldn't recommend using a blonde dye for colour correction as it us damaging and still may not give you the result you want.
