Do you ever miss your virgin hair?

Sometimes... When I'm having trouble getting my blonde/white to all go the same shade for example.

I let my hair grow out partially a few months back (ok so it was laziness and lack of cash for peroxide) and discovered that I no longer have the virgin hair I used to but have started to go grey prematurely, much like my mother did. Gutted,

Dye hard forever now I'm afraid!

Nope. Well, actually I don't know how I would look with my own hair (blonde). I've been dying my hair since I was 11 (I have an awesome mom). Started with red. Bright unnatural colours have only been a few years for me now. When I grew out my permanent black, I topped the roots with bright red, until the black was far enough down to cut off. So even then I didn't see much of my own hair.

I do miss the healthy hair from before I started switching colours every few months.

No, i think my natural hair is a medium brown from looking at my roots, but i've been colouring my hair since i was 11 so im not 100% sure, i feel lots better having bright hair and it boosts my confidence more xx

I haven't seen my virgin hair since I was about 11 as well, and I don't necessarily miss the colour (a mid to dark blonde) but I kinda miss not having to deal with regrowth or the condition of my hair. I mean - it's in great condition but that's because I put a lot of effort in. Sometimes I wish my hair was just my hair, healthy and non-damaged, without having to put loads of energy in. But I wouldn't trade my unnatural colours for the world!

I feel like the odd one out here as my hair is currently almost completely virgin (see avatar) with extremely faded red at the bottom, which has blended in with my natural colour to the point of being almost unnoticeable. I keep umm-ing and ahh-ing over whether to keep a virgin base and just dye over that in darker reds and purples, or whether to bleach and go mad with colours as I've never had a full head of really bright colour before. Decisions, decisions πŸ™‚

Nah, I never missed my natural golden-blonde color really. At some point I was tired of the maintenance and let my roots grow out for about 10 centimeters, but that was all I could tolerate and I was close of dying it again all the time..
What I do miss is my turquoise to dark blue ombre (since I never really bleach my hair, the longer parts were just a lot darker as I dyed my whole head with Directions Turquoise and it came out amazing), while being generally happy with my current color, having no intention of changing it soon.. turquoise is just the most amazing color out there.  *puzz*

I do and dont lol x
I do because it was tight lovely ringlets which i just about get back when its wet but 9/10 i straighten to smoothen it out as its frizzy and barely controllable :/ x
I dont because is was a dirty blonde with a slight streak if reddish in my fringe i loved my red but recently had to go dark again due to interviews etc as red can be a bit off puttin in receptionist work ;p lol but overall no because when i do dye all my hair becomes smooth xxx
I just love that just dyed feelin and the smell of permanents lmao x

I don't know what I'd look like with my virgin hair back now, to be honest!  Although I've always coloured it dark (brown, black, blue black, deep plum), and I don't miss dark at all.

But I still can't call myself blonde... "I'm a brunette who's wearing blonde hair". πŸ˜€

i dont miss the colour, i was a beautiful pale blonde as a child and it got progressively darker into a dirty blonde as i got older then it went into a really mousey browny blonde that was really dull and boring.

sometimes i miss the length it was and how silky and poker straight it was without touching it with straighteners but i do love having roots as its a big reminder of how long my hairs grown since i last touched my roots up lol. i also love how it will stay in waves now if i style it damp because when my hair was virgin the weight of my hair would make the curls and waves drop out within the hour. i could never go back to mousey shades!

Not at all, I hate my natural color on me. It's an extremely ashy dark blonde, so ashy it almost looks green but usually just looks like a golden green, ew, not a pretty ash at all. Once I started dying my hair I never looked back! I did try to dye it back to my natural color once, simply for financial reasons as I didn't know how to pick colors and whatnot at the time, and my stylist moved away. It was a terrible fail thanks to the *wonderful* advice a sallys girl gave me (use a permanent copper with 30 vol?! How does that turn a light blonde into an ash blonde  at all?! lol) so decided to dye it black like I'd always wanted to do ever since I saw Princess Jasmine when I was a kid lol
