I was wondering whether the Directions shampoo & conditioner are worth getting? I was thinking of it on the basis that I use Directions dye (at the moment) and they're obviously designed to work with their dyes specifically, so may be better (i.e. less fading) than other more generic ones?
Any views / experiences would be welcome. π
i also use directions neon blue and i use the directions shampoo with it and i must say it helps with fading ALOT!
every time i wash my hair with a normal shampoo the shower looks like i killed a smurf xD
but if i wash it with the directions shampoo then there is just a little bit of dye that goes out of my hair so yes i would say it works:D
I found the opposite. It is a sulphate based shampoo, (like any other 'colour safe' shampoo) and it faded my colour. I don't use shampoo at all now.
I tried them out. Horrible horrible reaction. I've gone SLS & Sulphate free now.

Lol, serious marketing right there, isn't it? π
Yeah, that's what I've learned with skincare or haircare products overtime, that it doesn't matter if it works for someone, like, literally it can do wonders to your hair, but the ingredients list is just like.. everything. It's everything. If it's good, then it's good, if it's not, then it's not good.
I bought about half a year ago Lee stafford's protein treatment for breaking hair, and a sillicone ingredient is alarmingly high in the ingredients list, it's like 3rd or 4th ingredient, in the list of like 30 I believe. All the good stuff was near the middle/end. Wish I knew that before, but hey ho, never mind π
Hmmmm strange that everybody reacts differently on this shampoo
Hair is very individual, what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. If it works for you, great. Just because it doesn't work for someone doesn't automatically make it a bad product. It is all trial and error with products IME.
Oh god sorry that came across totally wrong!! Ooops! *boo*
What I MEANT was that I tried it and it really didn't work for me at all.
Ooops... *whistle*
