Hello *waves*
This might be a long post so apologies as I'm gonna throw in some back story.
I haven't been on here for quite some time since going dark again (slight regret). Anyway if anybody remembers me it would have been a few years back now when I 1st posted the hair dressers absolutely fried my poor hair, I went from years of dyed black to a very patchy blonde/orange colour in ONE SITTING!! I then started to bleach the regrowth myself as I refuse to go back to a salon. Whilst dying my hair unnatural colours I managed to get it feeling less spaghetti like when wet & dry & puffy when dry, it actually looked "healthy". Around about June/July last year I found out I was pregnant so started dying my hair Semi Blue Black as I was always tired & couldn't be bother with touching up my roots ect, this then also became a chore so I dyed over that with a Perm dark brown to match my natural colour I only done this the once so almost a year ago as it was a perfect match faded abit now but looks kinder like a subtle ombré which I don't mind too much. I knew pregnancy hormones can start messing with your hair but mines become very dry & is in awful, awful condition. I'm trimming it every couple of weeks to try & stop the breakage but in the whole year I haven't dyed my hair it looks like it's gotten worse, I have so much breakage it's unreal, it's also so puffy (my hair is usually slightly waves) regardless of if I blow dry it straight which I've hardly done as want to avoid heat also. I'm wonder if anybody has used Aphogee & if so will that work on my hair? I've never used KPAK or anything else you ladies use. I just want to save what I can of my hair & have it looking decent again as its really getting me down, all I do is put it up as I can't do nothing else with it.
Oh & just for reference I don't use any silicones or any other of that nasty stuff, I coconut oil it once every few weeks, I avoid washing it for a week + & am regularly trimming it.
You would probably benefit from some protein. Aphogee is a good choice I think, especially if you can't be bothered to do it often.
The only hair that will have been affects by your pregnancy will be the hair that's grown since you got pregnant. If it's breaking in the lower portion then it's just damage that has gradually got worse. Just daily living causes damage, so it can always get worse sadly.

Thanks for the reply! Think I'll go with the Aphogee then.
Yes it's just the lower portion of my hair that's become worse, think I'll give it a good trim & then try out the Aphogee. Thanks again for the reply.
Yeah, it's just damage build up then, nothing to do with the pregnancy. Once hair has left the head it can never again be affected by what's going on in your body, it's effectively dead.
Some sparing use of aphogee, no more than once every 5-6 weeks will almost certainly help. Don't over do it, trust me, I recently over did protein as my hair really doesn't like protein much. I did an aphogee treatment, then a couple of weeks after used up the dregs of some kpak as I was moving and didn't want to waste it but didn't want to pack it... It was the last straw for some of the most damaged parts and I had a LOT of breakage straight away. So yeah, be careful. Also, do a good deep condition afterwards.
Okay, will definitly use it sparingly then. Oh no how awful, that's something I'd of done too, I hate to waste things! Lol. What would you advise as a good deep conditioner?
Edit: Could I use the Kpak Intense Hydrator treatment after the Aphogee as a deep condition?
