Currently Dying...

Thankyou, it was originally a vermillion red/pillar box mix , which  had faded to a  bright orange , so I put directions  pillar box red with a teaspoon of dark tulip and a squirt of white conditioner  over the top. 

It's so bright, I love it!

Made a sort of "toner" with about 1/2 oz Virgin Rose, a drop of a violet mixture I had leftover (a mix of Pravana Blue, Pravana Violet, Pravana Magenta, and After Midnight Blue), and about a cup of conditioner. It's on right now and i just warmed it up and my hair definitely looks more of a purpley pink, orchid color than it was. Hopefully it looks like that when it's rinsed out!

Got coconut oil on my head ready to bleach my roots! and redye this weekend! 🙂 2 months of regrowth, its the longest i've left it before, so hopefully the colour will be even xD

Edit: Now sat with round 2 of decolouring, lets hope it pulls more colour out this time...

Not really dying as such, just currently doing a 30 minute strand test of diluted directions violet to see how it looks on my (bleached) stained hair. I can't seem to get part of my hair to lighten enough so pale blonde isn't achievable unfortunately... I hope it doesn't end up looking too muddy.

Got my turquoise and lagoon blue mix on 🙂 going to sleep in it so i have a bag on my head, i look so attractive right now hahah 😀

Following up on my decolour remover, I'm now left with brown and light blue cruella. My mum calls me 'mint chocolate'. Not sure where to go from here now.

I am toning before co-wash ! I made a mix of conditioner, after midnight blue and a drop of plum, it looked kind of perriwinkle.

Hopefully it will balance the green !

All this shoveling, getting covered in snow + salt and exposure to this "polar vortex" (windchill of -40 f) left my hair looking gross yesterday, so I did an overnight coconut oil treatment last night. So much better!

Must have a good rant myself ... my dye is STILL not here, and I've been patiently, patiently waiting.  Probably holiday delays and weather delays - but I'm losing respect for the UK postal service, I could swear they used to be MUCH quicker.

It's drying right now, but I can already tell it's toned it extremely well!  I can never tell the end result until it's dried completely, but I think it will be as I realistically expected, using a very diluted mixture over a darker-than-banana-peel level... it seems to have eliminated the yellowy-orangey overtones, and I can't wait till it's dry, yay!

As expected, it didn't catch all the gingers as well as the yellows, so I just may try a second application, less diluted, this weekend on the darker areas... just for fun.  I'll make sure I post a picture too. 🙂
