Virgin Rose in on! *1*
Sat with adore aquamarine and violet gem on my head, ridiculously excited as I've wanted these colours for ages!
Have two dreadies so far.....doing my roots tomorrow then it's on to a full head of dreads, extensions then dye! So excited to be me again
Just re-hennaed my hair for the first time since May, my roots were about an inch long and blonde, not a good look with faded henna haha.
I'm super ginger again now though π
After an overnight coconut oil, then a bb on my roots, I'm now sitting with a mix of Adore Copper Brown, with a drop of Directions Pillar Box red that I found the other day. Not sure how this will come out with my pink base, but I'll find out about lunchtime! At least it won't be pink though - thoroughly bored of that now. Lol!
Update: OMG it's awesome! It's come out better than I hoped for. I love it. Will add pics to my timeline when it's dry. It's a deep burgundy colour, that looks orange toned in some lights, and pink in others. I'm in love with my hair again! *yay*
My pastel pink was super faded from the sun, really peachy pink with a couple inches of faded roots that looked pale yellow plus my natural roots are coming in + look gold from the sun. So I made a toner with Pravana Violet and just a little bit of Pravana Green, it looked like a periwinkle slate color. Now it goes from a silver at the faded root part to lilac, lavender, a cool pink, more grey, a silvery pink + purpley pink. It looks a lot like when I.put the violet toner over the faded AP before, just more pastel. I love it! I really need to take the time to get a photo of it
i miss your adventures Katie!
currently trying to brighten up the dull navy blue that directions plum has left on my hair with a few dollops of cerise. Also switching the over-greeny turquoise on the ends with atlantic blue. I prefer the new formulas for those two dyes when they're fresh on, but the fade is pretty icky.

Ooh, let us know how it goes!
Nuclear Bomb (Nuclear Red and Cherry Bomb) is back on my head π
My favourite colour combo ... how I've missed it so! Though Cherry Bomb looks like it has a lot more purple overtones than it used to, and Nuclear Red looks a lot less orange ... still orange-based, as the marks on my tub proved, just not as glaringly orange based as it used to be.

It's turned out SO perfect and typically I cant find my camera! Such woes π (My phone is a bit of a relic so no help there, haha)
EDIT:
Still pretty dark but I think it'll fade to exactly what I want. Yussssss
Lovely! Remember though, this thread isn't meant for results photos π You should make a thread for it when it fades to what you're after.
I'm gonna bleach my roooots and hopefully dye after π
Mid dye photo! We'll see if this goes well..
After experimenting with mixing ratios yesterday I then decided to go for something entirely different so i ordered the required dye (sods law it turned up today when i was taking my bunny to the vets)
I needed to dye today (i am going away on Friday) so i am currently sitting with what looks like ribena on my head; a mixture of equal parts Atlantic Blue, Violet, Rose Red & conditioner, which was a spur of the moment mix (started off with RR & Violet but didn't look different enough from RR so i added the AB) i really hope it looks nice, my first colour mixing experiment.
I will post a picture up tomorrow, i have got about another hour & a half of this on my head first *stars*
I'm sitting here with a complete mix on my head. It's Directions Pillar box red, Adore Rich Amber, some Adore Copper Brown, and a dash of Adore Bordeaux, diluted with about 40% conditioner. I spent about 30 mins mixing and testing on white paper before I got a colour I wanted!
The pink base I'm working with is making getting to rich burgundy hard work - the fade of the dye I had before went to a very odd sludgy pink colour. 😕 So I'm trying this and will see how it goes. I'll post a pic when it's done.
I'm currently sat with directions carnation pink on my hair over my faded blue. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out π
Carnation didn't quite cover well enough; bits went grey. So I covered it with one of my tried and tested rose red dilutions and now my hair is a lovely pink-purple.
