I'm currently sat with a mix of carnation and flamingo pink over my faded orange hair, waiting to wash it off. I'm hoping for a kind of 'turbo coral' colour lol.

Got my Grey Nirvel ArtX Nutre Color semi in the mail a couple days ago and just couldn't resist! I was doing a Hask Henna + Placenta Extra Strength treatment (2 packets) and added a little of the Grey to it and a little bit of Pravana Green, along with some Cure Care conditioner from Sallys so I'd have enough for my whole head and I just love how it came out! My ends and midlengths are all a light grey, not silver looking but grey, and in my top layer and fringe there's still thin streaks of very pale lavender, lilac, turquoise, mint, dark grey(used the Nirvel neat) and a slate blue. It's like grey and a pastel rainbow had a baby lol. I am reeeally struggling to get an accurate photo though! It keeps looking too light, the grey looks more like a silver, etc. I can't wait to get an accurate photo and post it!

Can't sleep so I'm currently toning my hair. I am out of Tresemme conditioner, so because I'm not keen on using it after washing my hair I decided to just use up the two bottles of Touch of Silver conditioner. Mixed it in a bowl with a tiny bit of Directions Violet.

A friend came over my house for like a week, as i live on my own now that the korean girls left. He asked me to bleach his whole head and tone it to white!

We already did the bleaching, which was a success...and that's a lot to say because he has black, thick and really strong hair. Pale yellow in one go, he was freaking out!!

Now we're waiting for the toner to do its magic and he can't stay still, he's a nervous little puppy. First time he dyes his hair and he went for a really big change!!

Sitting with pure flamingo pink on my hair, since I had to try out my coral idea before my hair was light enough really I thought I would just dye it pink now.

Got a pastel mixture on my hair! 😀
Got enough conditioner for my head (or so I thought), dab of plum (old formula), two dabs of cerise, a dollop of lilac and dollop of bleach london silver shampoo. I had to mix some more up so from my crown to my fringe, it's abit darker 😀 I'm super excited! 😀 I'll expect to put photos up tomorrow as it'll get too dark for a photo this evening I think.

Spent this afternoon toning the streaks and gradient of pink/lilac, mint, slate blue and turquoise from AP, Pravana Violet + Green with Pravana Red, Orange Yellow and Green. It was a PITA! I made the toners so pale because I was afraid of overdoing it/getting bright streaks of the toner colors on the already perfect strands...I would apply it wherever I thought, let it set, rinse, let it dry, and repeated that 2 more times. It came out a really greyish blonde with random strands of muted pastel rainbow colors lol. From afar it looked just like a mid to pale grey/blonde, but when you looked up close you could see random muted pastel rainbow strands. I think I did a pretty good job getting it as even as I could so I could put this Nirvel dark Grey semi on. I just didn't want a slate blue grey/ plummy grey/true grey gradient. I have it on now, crossing my fingers it comes out as even yet dimensional as I'm hoping!

I still have to go through my camera to see if there's any decent photos to post of my last pastel, it was just really hard to capture. Either the grey looked weird or the other colors looked weird or didn't show and it all just looked grey..

I am currently trying a Rose Red Ombre, i.e. fresh rose red over my roots and mid lengths, leaving my ends with 2 week old rose red on them, i.e. bright pink which i covered in conditioner.

I diluted the rose red 1:2 conditioner as i want to avoid bleed but I don't know if this weak it will mask my virgin roots until Friday, so it'll be interesting to see how it comes out.

If it looks nice i'll be half tempted to do a really weak bleach bath on my tips so its a 3 shade ombre: Dark, bright, light...

If it doesn't come out well i will be going over it all in rose red diluted 1:1 (which i've run out of, so i hope i flnd out before the cut off for deliver tomorrow)

I'll let you know in 3 hrs or so time 🙂

This may be an HDF first :D, and it probably sounds really odd and it's a bit embarrassing, but ...

Right, well, the joys of going grey... I've had a patch on the top of my head where most of the hairs seem to have lost pigment completely.  Not so bad when I'm bleaching roots, and it's not terribly noticeable unless I point it out to someone, but now that I've decided to grow my roots a bit, I wanted to create roots in that patch.

Dying is done and successful - I used the dye that I used to use and thought was the culprit of the slight stains in my lengths, and I know we've spoken badly about it here, but I know how it works and that it matches my natural colour, similar to that Bigen stuff, called Sta-Sof-Fro (mix with water only).

So I mixed up a tiny bit, applied with a cotton bud, and I've successfully re-created roots where they seem to have lost colour.

I don't think I've read here before that anyone's put roots in... and I'm chuffed with the result.
