I'm fading out Directions Cerise and on me, it fades ugly. I'll have to deal with it because the more it fades, the better the bleach bath will be.

Well, that was an epic failure. I diluted it too much, I guess. Now on to the second try with more dye. πŸ˜›

I decided to postpone the lilac/lavender hair and just re-dye with plum again, without mixing it with any conditioner as i used to do. The reason is... i have to travel to another country tomorrow (found out today, what) and i can't go around with pastel turquoise hair and 5cm long white roots while giving speeches or else no one would take me seriously.

What is this sorcery, it looks black on the roots. I knew non-diluted plum looks really dark but this is just plain black y'all *rofl*

Haha, yes, undiluted plum tends to do that. Is it looking black on your lengths too?

I rinsed it off and only the very ends of the hair are actually purple! 90% of it looks just black or really deep purple. I didn't want it to be like this, but it'll do the trick for now πŸ˜›

It looks cool though, kinda like ombre-dip dye? I'll update with a picture as soon as my hair dries!

Sounds quite awesome though! Looking forward to the pictures.

My second try did the job, by the way. I posted the result, am really happy with it!

Haha, that is really black indeed! It'll fade purple, and right now it looks awesome! Like you did it this way intentionally.

Currently topping up my colour with dye mixed conditioners. I can solemnly declare that Vaseline is my best friend.

Dying again. I wanted to stay with pastels, but it was waaaayyy too much upkeep. So now I've got stargazer blue black at the back and crazy color sky blue at the front. Can't wait to see the result. πŸ™‚

Fading plum again! The thing is it's just black, not plum ??? Well, the ends are plum but the rest became, for unknown reasons, black. I thought i'd fade and become plum but hell no it didn't.

The bottle was slightly old but i don't think that's the reason why it became black, so...dandruff shampoo all the way!
I should just use color B4 and get rid of this...hah xD

Pravana Violet, diluted about 50/50 with conditioner, with a spot of Wild Orchid to tone the greenish muck I put it over... Fingers crossed! It looks so dark on πŸ˜€

I'm this close, THIS CLOSE, to dying my hair back to brown as the current strawberry champagne blonde doesn't suit me at all. Blegh.

I've just applied a colour remover, bought and extra one in case i need to use it again and the first one doesn't fade this black-plum disaster.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, ladies!

EDIT: Ok after rinsing and shampooing 4 times as suggested by the instructions only my roots did a significant change (back to my natural ginger -i do not enjoy this-) but the rest of the hair seems to have lost a significant amount of the pigment so i don't know if i should bleach bath it and rest for a week or use the shampoo+bleach powder recipe.
