My Adore Copper Brown didn't come out the colour I expected, plus it's been fading quite quickly and I never did get the interview I originally dyed it for. I miss being bright, so I've stuck a bit of Directions Apricot on top and am waiting for it to take. So excited to have non-boring hair again!
Yay for bright hair!
I'm currently sat with cheap anti dandruff shampoo and fairy liquid on my head, trying to fade out my pale pink and blue to dye my hair with adore's sunrise orange, which I'm really excited about, I haven't used adore before.

switching my turquoises tips to lagoon blue. I miss wearing my summery green tops, which it clashed with horribly. Does anyone else end up changing their hair with the seasons, so to speak?
currently have Purple Rage on my head, I'm nervous!
I stripped my hair it was ginger haha XD then I tried to dye it damson wine by live xxl it went black with a tinge of purple so goanna remove this and try tone the ginger down and return to blonde again haha
My roots were going greener and greener with every wash - gorgeous green but alas it made me look like a hair dying noob who'd effed up her roots 😉 So. Have plonked a mix of Midnight Blue and Peacock Blue on my roots then dragged it through to the ends rather than dying the whole lot and hoping for a multitonal deep and medium blue...
Edit: ahhhh no more green 🙂 Just a lovely velvety blue.

That sounds lovely 🙂 I always love your hair colours.
I'm currently sat with adore sunrise orange and directions flamingo pink on my hair, looking forward to seeing how it comes out because I've not used adore before.
Can't wait to see it Marthakins!
Just bleached my roots - I used a new bleach, Joico cream bleach. I had high hopes for it because it claims 8 levels of lift...but it didn't get my hair any lighter than the Wella Blondor or Ion powder. I just can't seem to break through the neon yellow stage. Plus side, shimmer lights shampoo really helped tone down the yellow.
I'm currently doing my first attempt of a pastel. I mixed half a teaspoon of directions turq with loads of conditioner and slapped it on just now. I'm soooo excited, most of my hair was near white, roots were a tad darker so I'm curious to see how they take. If it's patchy or whatever I'll just redo it, since that can sometimes help.
Edit : Oooh, Marthakins, do share a picture of your new colours. Is sunrise orange an actual orange?
3 weeks since I did the VR, I'm back again with more VR on. I still absolutely love the colour, but it has faded a bit so I thought I'd top it up. Plus I ran out of time last time so only left it on for 90 mins - I've got no plans / commitments today so sticking with the full 4 hours.
Somehow I managed to get away with the condition after my escapades last time - I checked it carefully after using the clarifying shampoo this morning and apart from the last inch or so on the ends which are absolutely like straw (and will be cut off at the next cut in a couple of weeks), the rest is actually fine. *yay*
Another 3 weeks and I'll re-do the roots and another VR top up. 😀
I've currently got Adores Aquamarine mixed with Crazy Colours Emerald on my fringe, with Purple Rage and Violet Gem mixed everywhere else ^.~ can't wait to wash it out and see how it's taken!
The bottle of dye I bought off a Dutch seller got here today (I do hope my beeunique order arrives soon too), so I've diluted some CC violette and slapped it on. I'm not sure if it'll take to my roots like it'll take to the lengths with how much I've diluted it, but it could tone the last of the yellow out. I'll just have to wait and see. I'm excited, been waiting weeks for this!
I did my roots last night but the parts of bleach that barely overlapped onto diluted, 3 weeks faded Carnation Pink didn't shift it at all. I didn't tone the roots, so now it's yellow to salmony where the pink didn't hold as well to pinker ends and it's a convincing gradient, but I think I will try and fade the pink as it bothers me that it doesn't seem to bleach out. I think I just want to know whether I will have to cover it with a darker colour.
I may regret this, but i'm bleaching my roots (my hair in general, duh) and mixed some AsrtX Decoblanc with the bleach, because the lady at the hair salon supply whatever-it-should-be-called told me it works wonders and gives an extra kick to your bleach actually leaving the hair white/almost white. As i want lavender hair i thought this might help me skip a few steps but i'm not really sure about this?
Seems to be reacting fine with my directions plum, no green whatsoever yet, but it's only been 5 minutes since i put it all on so who knows.
Never heard of this Decoblanc thing before...has anyone tried it?
Update: well f**k, it turned green as soon as i said it was doing fine...XD
2nd update: abort mission. DO NOT recommend. Green doesn't tone down with the pink i used. Going black with dip dye, i guess. I tried.
Don't give up yet, you can get the green much paler with a colour remover and fading methods. It will go bright green if the Plum isn't very faded first.
