Currently Dying...

So just bleach bathed my hair SOOOO happy with the results. The light minty blue side has gone practically white (yayayay) and the dark gingery brown has gone two shades of a lighter ginger, so i'm on the right track. Hopefully will have my dream hair in 2-3 weeks 🙂

Yay, Katiezz!  That sounds like a very successful bleach bath!

I hope the dye doesn't fade that fast for you, Alexia! Doing your hair every few weeks can get annoying (if it's the same colour).

Directions mandarin is looking really red, haha. It looked red in the tub too, but I didn't bother to dilute, so it'll probably go really orange after a few washes. Though the indoor lighting picture shows it orange, with daylight it looks red.

You can see how ugly my ends are. I haven't let it cut in ages, so they'll be chopped off in two days. I can't wait!

Thanks, Rij... re-dying every few weeks is a bit of a pain, but before I went blonde, I had to touch up every week, so the new maintenance should be really nothing if I think about it, ha ha.

I just had to say I love your new colour combination!  It's so cool and looks really good on you.  Well done, and I love the red-orange colour.  I don't know if you were going for orange, but if the red looks like it does in the first photo IRL it's really amazing with the yellow.  I love it!

Alexia, every week!! Wow, once a month is way better then indeed. When I used manic panic it faded so fast I'd need to dye every week and I quickly switched to other dyes. How long did you manage to do the weekly touch up for?

I was going for orange, but it'll probs fade orange anyway and I don't mind the red.

@Rij I LOVE your new color! The Mandarin looks a lot more orange in the lamp photo, I'm sure it should fade out to more of a color like that 🙂 I think it looks awesome though! It's nice to see fiery colors this time of year!

Been trying to fade my Alpine/Turquoise mix which is proving mega stubborn to shift. I've used washing up liquid, shaving foam, shower gel, bicarb and its hardly touched it.
Im waiting on blood red and napalm to be delivered to make a orangey red. Gonna have another few tries at fading before they arrive.
I used the new formula Alpine mixed with the old turquoise, its not fading as much as usual. I dyed start of Nov, usually it would have faded enough by now to use a red shade. I imagine its gonna be a bleach bath job 🙁

I am totally happy with my hair right now, I'm not bored with it at all, but I just want to do something to it! lol. I just love the process of dying my hair with semis, the excitement + anticipation, mixing the color to make just the right shade, applying it, etc. I'll just do a conditioning treatment to try and satisfy my fix lol

Currently sat here with 30 day eyelash/brow dye on my brows in dark brown. Just going to take it off, hope it works didnt leave on long enough last time.Fingers crossed it works this time  🙂

About to do the bb I was originally going to do a few weeks ago. We will see if I get to the same color as my extensions so I can wear them to a get-together this weekend.

Fading fading fading in preparation for a change in a week and a half....Good thing I want to keep the top purple because this Punky Violet is here to stay!

Finally got around do doing the purple (MP UV) on my hair. I already have my extensions done. Will be washing it out soon, hope for a match so I can have long hair today for valentines day 🙂
