It didn't really take anyways. My hair is a mess of brown and blue weirdness, and my roots look virgin (even though I pre-softened them with peroxide)
And now I have a headache and feel like I'm about to puke, unsure if that has to do with the stuff but I don't think I will ever use it again :/

Oh yes, here's the ingredients for that dye from their website:
Algin, Cassia Auriculata Leaf Powder, Indigofera Argentea (Indigo) Leaf Powder, Indigofera Tinctoria (Indigo) Leaf Powder, 
Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf Extract, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, 
Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Extract, Lawsonia Inermis (Henna) Extract / 
Lawsonia Inermis (Henna) Leaf Powder, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein

Did my root retouch today and have had my dye on for the past 3 or 4 hours, about to rinse it off! Used a little bit of each of some leftovers: Conditioner with Rose Red, Atomic Pink, a teeny bit of the last of my Virgin Rose, Hot Hot Pink, Pravana Pink and Pravana Violet, I added more Violet this time.

I've got a head of coconut oil right now, ready for a bleach bath later.
After years of bleaching to have atomic pink or cherry bomb, and eventually white my hair was pretty fried. I had no idea about silicones until I found this forum so I was doing untold damage to my hair but not realising. Ive had natural hair for a few months (medium blonde) now Im getting the itch to go pink again!
Since my hair is in much better condition since Ive gone silicone-free and laid off the straighteners I feel like it can cope! 🙂

Using Pravana silver heavily diluted to get a light silver. Because the mixture is purple, I have no idea what it'll come up like.

Doing roots, nearly time to wash off the bleach

CC Peacock Blue on! I haven't leached my roots because I'm not supposed to put strong chemicals n my scalp for a while so just the lengths and ends. This haircut is amazing though - I used less than a bottle. Used to take more than two tubs of Directions plus conditioner to get me covered!

Pravana Silver faded quite fast, it probably didn't help that I showered a lot because it's cold and nothing like a good hot shower to get warm again. Dyed my hair yellow (Directions Bright Daffodil), which came out nice enough, but I don't like how it looks on me at all.

So right now I have the majority of my hair covered in Directions Mandarin, with the front part still yellow and I'm curious to see how it'll look. 🙂

And once I have pictures of that, I'll have had all colours in my hair at some point. Woo!

Also, the ends of my hair are in horrid condition, I'm making an appointment to chop off lots of it, so my hair will feel nice again. ^^

Rij, interesting to hear you say that!  Mine was due for a touch-up this weekend as well, after about a month or so.  The last couple weeks, I started to stretch my shampoos, so I hope that routine will help the Pravana Silver stick a bit longer, as that's the colour I plan to keep for now!  And a little of that stuff goes a long way.

Maybe it's a hairdye that sticks better for some people and not that good for others (like manic panic)? I loooooved the colour, but was super impatient to try yellow so I didn't redye. It was near white when I put yellow on top, so it faded fast. But I did shower every other day and I don't like to shower without washing my hair. I also don't co wash or whatnot, so my choice of shampoo doesn't help my hair colour either (lush solid shampoo bars).

I hope the dye doesn't fade that fast for you, Alexia! Doing your hair every few weeks can get annoying (if it's the same colour).

Directions mandarin is looking really red, haha. It looked red in the tub too, but I didn't bother to dilute, so it'll probably go really orange after a few washes. Though the indoor lighting picture shows it orange, with daylight it looks red.

You can see how ugly my ends are. I haven't let it cut in ages, so they'll be chopped off in two days. I can't wait!
