Cornrows

Does anyone know how to cornrow hair? I've always really wanted an undercut but I don't wanna get it, and have to grow it out once I dislike it, and I've seen this style, and I was just wondering how I might go about doing it?

I have. It is like doing very tiny french braids. You have to be very precise though to keep them going straight.

ETA, you also have to pull them quite tightly so they dont start freying. ( is that the right word?) So they dont look messy after a few hours.

They are basically tiny French plaits. They look much more difficult to do than they actually are, just section the hair off neatly before you start and you can't go wrong.

Yep, what they said. Time consuming but pretty easy. It does take a little practice to get them tight enough, especially with European hair that's shiny. Those aren't even that small and tidy, so pretty simple.

Thanks guys! I tried doing them last night but I fail at keeping them close to the scalp πŸ™

You'd be better getting someone else to it I suspect

Might be an idea to wash with something harsh too and no conditioner so it's not so slippery.
