Hello,
So I have dyed my hair a couple of times. First time I had red highlights then I wanted to dye it lavendar and it came out white and extremely damaged. Waited for it to grow out then cut it and dyed the whole thing back to brown. Ever since I haven't died my hair again but I want to. My problem is I feel like no colors look good on people with brown skin. I am half black half white and have pretty straight/wavy hair. I have dark brown hair which is borderline black but I just can't find anything I feel like would look good. Anyone else have any ideas?

Maybe you just need something very saturated! The color of your shirt in that second picture looks great on you-- I bet it would be great in your hair!

As Pastina touches on, often, all you need to do is think about the colours you wear and you'll find the good colours for your hair.

The shade of your skin has nothing to do with what suits you or not, it's actually the undertone of it 🙂 For exemple, my best friend has neutral-toned brown skin and she can suit almost everything.
It's the lack of representation of people of color with dyed hair that makes you think you can't rock certain shades 🙂
(edit) btw: you can look up "dyed natural hair" on google you'll find plenty of darker skin tones with dyed hair!!
