I don't know if it's just me, and living in a rubbish town that offers less choices, but lately I'm having a hard time finding any clarifying shampoo on the high street. I'd not long finished a bottle of Pantene Classic Clarifying and looked everywhere for more with no luck. Eventually I happened upon a Herbal Essences clarifying shampoo and bought 2 bottles, but since then this shampoo also seems to have disappeared from the shelves. I've looked in various places (only have Wilkinsons, Boots, Tesco, B&M and Savers in my town) among every available brand and found nothing whatsoever by way of clarifying shampoo.
Is it just me having this problem, or has anyone else here had this experience also? I don't mind buying it online from now on if need be, but it's just really frustrating when every other form of shampoo is available across various brands... :-

It seems like Pantene renames products every six months. ::) If you can find it, try their Sheer Volume shampoo. It's their latest incarnation of identical fine hair/ volume/ clarifying shampoos. It's very stripping.

I can never find one called clarifying shampoo now either. I now just look for something that says something along the lines of deep cleansing etc.

I usually use Head and Shoulders to clarify. Not the 2 in 1but the original shampoo.
Speaking of things hard to find but has Tres Semme Naturals been discontinued? I've been looking for ages for it in Tesco and Asda and haven't been able to get hold of any.

I use tresemme deep clean (or something along those lines anyway).

I use the herbal essences one but I too find it hard to get a hold of it sometimes.

I live in fear of tresemme naturals being discontinued, its the only shampoo and condition I can use that doesn't make me itchy or give me a sore scalp. I can put anything else on the lengths to condition, but near scalp nothing else comes close to naturals. I can still get mine from superdrug online and boots luckily.

Ah, I didn't realise brands weren't calling them clarifying shampoos any longer. Thanks all for your help, I'll bear your recommendations in mind for when my Herbal Essences runs out 🙂
