Thought it might be fun to discuss some celebrity hair colours. I've got one to start with, although it's probably boring because it's just normal ol' blonde! I'm noticing all blonde hair lately, everyone out on the street and on public transport, and trying to guess if it's natural, if I'd like it on me, what I'd do to re-tone it, if there are roots growing in, etc. Pathetic, I know.
So I do watch the American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" and admit I'm a big fan. I have always loved Penny's hair (Kaley Cuoco) and notice the changes from season to season. I know she's been on other stuff before this show, but I just can't remember what.
Season 1, it started out really blonde all over:
She's obviously been growing it out, and can't really tell if it's been low-lighted or if she's naturally darker blonde and gets highlights:
And now this season, Season 7, her hair really looks a lot darker on top, as if there are roots growing in underneath but still blended well into the layers. This picture doesn't really show the darkness, but if you're watching the new season, it seems much darker than this, as this one still looks highlighted:
Any other celebrity hair to chat about? 😀
She is best known for 8 simple rules and Charmed prior to Big Bang.
Alyssa Milano had about a million different hair styles and colours whilst filming Charmed, and rocked them all (except the micro fringe she had around the time she married Cole...) I loved the way she transitioned from short to long, dark to blonde. Her co-star Rose McGowan was great example of getting stuck at an unflattering orangey ginger lol. I think she was bleaching out black/dark dye, she never quite got to blonde.
I loved Alyssa Milano's hair in charmed and will admit to rocking the cut with the micro fringe when she had it 😉
She got a pixie!? 😮
I've always envied her long hair, now apparently "it is no more"... whoa.
P.S. I always loved Alyssa Milano's brown hair... only wished mine looked like hers growing up!
i actually really like it like that!
...ive been really eyeing that type of cut lately-- i guess i'm getting bored with my length? but, i know i'll regret it if i go for it. i always do.
I love her new haircut!
I'm loving katy Perry's green hair with dark roots at the mo. So much that I've grown my roots out too. I am loving the dark roots look!
I agree, Pastina, that really suits her well! A pixie would probably suit you too. But I know, it's such a decision to make and you must make sure you won't regret it.
it might be that a pixie can be flattering on me, but i've yet to find one that worked. i've had several *really* unflattering short haircuts in the past, so my husband has continually told me that if i cut it short again, he'll leave me! lol. i think my hair is just too thick for it to be very short-- i always ended up having to pin the top down to keep it from being fluffy.
the last time i tried a bob, it was actually super cute!! but i hurt my shoulder (badly) a week later, and was completely unable to style it, so it was just a complete mess all the time... and too short to pull up.
so, i just have to deal with pixie envy! also, it'd be a really drastic change for me atm, since my hair's about waist length now.
edit to add: @glitterpix-- katy's hair actually is really cute that way! ...why is it that green is the best color to have roots with!?! i'm kinda regretting going from green to pink, because my regrowth looked so much better with green!

Personally, I didn't agree with all their 'winners', but it was fun nonetheless.
I've always wanted Kristen Stewart's mahogany brown hair. I get jealous whenever I see it.
