Just as the title says. I loooove the smell of my favourite conditioner, but this heavenly scent doesn't stay a lot in my hair so I was wondering if I could make a leave-in conditioner with it that maybe would stick more. I was thinking of taking some of it, dilute it with water and put it in a spray bottle but I'm not experienced with these things so I don't know if by adding water it would "go bad". Has anyone ever tried this?
ingredients list if it might help:
Aqua/Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Eleais Guinnensis Oil/Palm Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, CI 19140/Yellow 5, CI 17200/Red 33, Cocos Nucifera Oil/Coconut Oil, Stereamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Chlorexidine Dihydrochloride, Mangifera Indica Seed Oil/Mango Seed Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicyclate, Linalool, Gardenia Tahitiensis Flower, Citric Acid, Coumarin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Glycerin, Parfum/Fragrance.
I just use a pea sized blob of my normal conditioner, whatever I happen to be using at the time, and scrunch it through my hair before towel drying. I'll squeeze it a bit to remove any excess. I have hair that needs the extra weight, so although my hair is short, I still would say to you to try a pea sized blob first.
Oh haven't thought about that. I'll give it a try π
