Can anyone recommend a good toner in the UK?

I've just used a colour remover and I've gotten surprisingly lighter than I expected with a lot of golden tones and minimal orangey/red tones. I'm thinking over the course of this month I'll do a bleach bath and then try to tone it to a dark ashy kind of blonde to match my natural colour. In the past I've tried on a few occasions to make my own purple toner from directions violet but it never seems to work on my hair - either it does nothing or I add too much and get full on purple patches. I've seen on youtube people use the Color Charm toners from Wella a lot but Sallys in the UK doesn't stock this line and it's 3x the price on ebay/amazon etc. Can anyone recommend a fairly reasonable in price ashy toner which is mixed with developer that my local sallys would stock please? Whenever I go in there I always feel too intimidated by so many products and end up leaving empty handed!

If you want an oxidative product you can use box demi blondes (28 wash ones) The blonde shades often have higher vol developer than you need, so i usually swap it for 10 vol or lower. Definitely do a strand test, they can come out darker on bleached hair.
For direct dyes, sallys stock Wella Colour fresh which comes in loads of blonde shades.
I still prefer to mix my own though, the secret is getting the mix at the right dilution and the right timing. So try leaving a weak mix on for longer, rather than a strong mix on for just a few minutes.
I was looking at the sally's website today and they are selling Osmo Colour Revive which comes in a violet and a platinum/silver shade. I haven't tried them or read any reviews, but they may be something to check out. They have other coloured shampoo/conditioners too, including Bonacure which is a good one. If you apply like a dye to dry hair and leave on for half an hour or so you can get quite surprising results from purple shampoos.

Hi, could you update on how you got on? I'm uk also and my end goal seems similar to yours (just posted a query too with my hair story).

What did you put on the colour remover, did you end up left with ginger tones?

Hope you can help, thanks
