You can 100% get a purplepink with directions alone. I would mix cerise with violet and dilute the bejeebus out of it with conditioner!

Adore also have a purple/pink, Violet Gem.  I dilute it with a thick conditioner though, it's quite runny.

To actually answer your question, I don't see why you couldn't mix an Adore dye with a Directions dye to make your perfect shade.  Again though I'd dilute with conditioner, in my experience Directions is very guilty of rubbing off onto everything if undiluted!  (Adore is better behaved for me)

You can mix Adore and directions. Though, the consistency is so different it might be a little awkward.

Ive done it before, and as Janine said it because a bit runny due to how liquid adore is but it isnt too difficult to work with, you just need to be more careful if you are used to thicker dyes like directions.

I mix loads of different brands together. When you get one with a much thicker consistency than the other - so basically Adore with anything, because Adore is very liquid - I put in the amount of thicker colour I want, add a tiny amount of the liquid colour, mix, then add the liquid colour bit by bit until it's all mixed together. That way you get an even mixture and no blobs. (I find Adore and Special Effects the hardest to mix together.)
